Abigail Reyes
-
Abigail Reyes's work is deeply ingrained in the feminist discourse of Latin America. Trained as a graphic designer, she works primarily with video and installation. Reyes also produces poetry, which equally informs her visual practice, pasting the city walls with her ‘popular poetry’ transcribing overheard soundbites which reveal the omnipresence of gender bias or sexism, or interrogating the relationship between inscription and action with works such as To Leave/To Arrive (2015).
