Americana book launch and conversation with Jens Hoffmann

Jens Hoffmann will be joined by curators Will Brown, Liz Glass, Dane Jensen, Joanna Szupinska, and Xiaoyu Weng for a conversation about Americana: 50 States, 50 Months, 50 Exhibitions, a series of short-term exhibitions examining the American states and territories. The project was co-organized Hoffmann and 49 students from the CCA Graduate Program in Curatorial Practice over the course of five years, where each state or territory was developed into an exhibition by a different student. Together they offer a picture of the ongoing formations of American history, and America’s cultural and national identity. Americana, the catalog publication is available during the event.
