Kadist Art Foundation has initiated a residency program in San Francisco for French artists.
For this first year, the video-artist Aurélien Froment was invited to spend four months in San Francisco starting in September 2008. At the invitation of the Wattis Institute (Jens Hoffmann) and the California College of The Arts (CCA), he will participate in the « Passengers » exhibition, including an inclusion of his work in the group show in September 2008 and presenting a solo show a year later.
Aurélien Froment was born in 1976 in Angers, France. He lives and works in Dublin.
A project initiated by Kadist Art Foundation, with the support of the French American Cultural Society (FACS) and the San Francisco French Consulate.
