Munchhausen trilemma is a thought experiment used to demonstrate the impossibility of proving any truth. The constant state of questioning and call for evidence causes fractures, resistance and an endless vacuous cycle.
Here We Meet is an attempt to understand the dilemmas that we face in rising tensions between global cultural homogenization and cultural heterogenization. Focusing on the way humans relate to their urban locales in a globalized context and how it defines the concept of community, the work of 18 international artists come together to investigate relationships between humans, nature, and the future, fostering conversations around notions of individuality, identity, and history.
Here We Meet is presented at and co-produced with The Galaxy Museum of Contemporary Art (Chongqing, China).
