Hypnotic Show

Organized by curator Raimundas Malasauskas and hosted by Marcos Luytens, the Hypnotic show is a guided process of self-generated cognitive acts, combining art and hypnotic trace. The current iteration is based on texts included in Malasauskas’ book Paper Exhibition. After starting off in 2008 in San Francisco at the Jessica Silverman Gallery, the Hypnotic Show traveled to several venues across many countries (including Kadist, Paris) and was recently performed at Documenta 13 in Kassel, Germany this past summer. On Wednesday October 31st, Halloween in the US, the project returned to San Francisco.
