SF Art Book Pop-up

Saturday, January 24, 2-7pm

On the occassion of the upcoming LA Art book fair, nine Bay Area booksellers, artists, and independent publishers will convene for one day at Kadist to showcase their latest art books, catalogs, periodicals, and zines. This mini pop-up fair includes contributions from 2nd Floor Projects, Colpa Press, LAND AND SEA, Little Paper Planes, Owl Cave Books, Publication Studio, RITE Editions, TBW Books, and THE THING Quarterly. With limited physical platforms to locally support the distribution of art books, this event will provide a unique access to the Bay Area’s publishing community and their recent work. Organized one week prior to the Printed Matter‘s LA fair, this program will create an opportunity to share a special preview with locals who won’t be attending in Los Angeles. Drinks will be served and Wuuuj will be spinning vinyl all day long.
