We Stand Together to Stop AAPI Hate
KADIST stands in solidarity with our Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities, colleagues, collaborators, neighbors, and those who have faced acts of violence, xenophobia, and racism.
KADIST condemns white supremacy and all forms of racial discrimination that have led to the horrific murders in Atlanta and violent and abusive acts targeting AAPI communities in our own neighborhood—the San Francisco Bay Area (US)—and around the world. We are committed to the long-term process of eradicating white supremacy in the arts and beyond.
It is our mission to present and amplify the voices of artists who respond to urgent social and political issues of our time. Their work is vitally important in this climate of escalating bigotry and hate crimes. We are dedicated to supporting artists and curators who engage with the complexity of the historical and contemporary conditions that have brought us to this point.
